It is 79 degrees and humid. It rained a little today. We need it to rain some more. I got up this morning around 6:20 AM. Carol left to have breakfast with a friend around 7 o'clock AM. She got up from having breakfast with a friend as I was leaving to volunteer at the Book Nook from 10 AM till 1 PM. Today the Book Nook was busy, but I had time to read from a book titled, 'How The South Won The Civil War: Oligarchy, Democracy, and the Continuing Fight for the Soul of America' by Heather Cox Richardson. I bought these used books while volunteering at the Book Nook today- 'Becoming America: The Revolution Before 1776' by Jon Butler 'The Crisis Of The Standing Order: Clerical Intellectuals and Cultural Authority in Massachusetts, 1780-1833' by Peter S. Field 'Walden Henry David Thoreau A Fully Annotated Edition edited by Jeffrey S. Cramer In the mail today I received a book titled, 'The Knot: Complete Words for Music, Collected Stories and Journals' by Michael Gira [Limited Edition]. Carol got home from volunteering at the Book Nook around 3:15 PM. When she got home I was sitting in our dining room feeling exhausted. Not much else to report this afternoon. Last night I mainly read, 'The Occult: A History' by Colin Wilson. I will close to feel wasted.
