glorycloud's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Satan has a kingdom in wicked men's hearts It is 12:52 PM Tuesday afternoon here in Western Michigan. It is a mostly sunny day. It is 62 degrees outside and the neighborhood is quiet. It is getting Time again to mow our front and back yard. I went outside this morning with one of my camera's and took pictures of all the rose bushes around our house. Right now roses are blooming on all our rose bushes. There are not many wild flowers blooming in my Wild Flower Garden right now. I got up this morning around 7:11 AM. I came upstairs to find Carol drinking coffee in the kitchen. I got a cup of coffee and sat in our dining room to slowly wake up. It is a blessing to have a nice home to walk up in each day. Maybe someday we won't have a home. Maybe someday we will be in an Assistant Living Place waking up bed ridden. We do not know what the future holds for Carol and I. We do know we are in the hands of our Heavenly Father. I spent the morning writing in my paper diary and reading from a book titled, 'Jonathan Edwards: Spiritual Writings' [The Classics of Western Spirituality]. Carol left around 9:30 AM to meet up with friends for brunch. There is not much else to report. Last night I mainly read from a book titled, 'Margaret Sanger: A Life Of Passion' biography by Jean H. Baker. Carol just got home and while she was out she stopped at a thrift store and found some used books. She found these three used books for me- 'The Brooklyn Follies' A Novel by Paul Auster 'Ghost Soldiers: The Forgotten Epic Story Of World War II's Most Dramatic Mission' by Hampton Sides 'The Original Illustrated Mark Twain: Huckleberry Finn, The Prince and the Pauper, A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court, Plus Short Stories' Castle Books 2001 Well I will close to wait it out. 1:19 p.m. - 2022-06-07 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
