glorycloud's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- they would be saved in their sins, but not from their sins It is 12:41 PM Friday afternoon here in West Michigan. It is a cold damp overcast gray day. A day to fall asleep someplace warm and dark. I got up this morning around 5:50 AM but did not come upstairs till almost 7 o'clock AM. Lately I get up pull up the shades, turn on my lap top and listen to classical music, go back to bed and lay there waking up slowly. After I am somewhat awake I go upstairs to greet my wife and have a morning meal. It must be sad to wake up and have no one that loves you eternally. I just remembered I did not eat breakfast, but cooked Carol eggs with bacon and cheese on a English muffin for her morning meal. After Carol and I had devotions and prayed I ate a bowl of cereal for breakfast. I left to volunteer at our local library used books store The Book Nook at 9:35 AM this morning. At the Book Nook when not helping folks with their used books to be bought I read from a book titled, 'The Abuse of God's Grace' by Nicolas Claget. I also this morning before leaving for the library wrote in my paper diary and read from a volume titled, 'The Life Of Jesus Christ' Part One Volume 2, Chapters 41-92 by Ludolph of Saxony Translated By Milton T. Walsh. Last night we watched some professional football (Thursday Night Football) and then around 8:50 PM we turned off the TV. We prayed and Carol went to bed and I went down into the lower level to read before going to bed. I mainly read last night till my bedtime from a novel titled, 'Darconville's Cat' by Alexander Theroux. Carol should be home from the Book Nook around 3:15 PM. Time keeps zooming by. I will close to ponder. "[37] In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. 12:58 p.m. - 2021-10-15 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
