glorycloud's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fire Warnings-Weather It is 11:24 AM Thursday afternoon here in West Michigan. It is 72 degrees and sunny. It has been predicted to get 86 degrees this afternoon. We will wait and see. Right now we are under a Fire Warning/drought danger of forest fires/grass fires/earth on fire. I got up this morning around 6:15 AM. I got up made a fresh pot of coffee and sat in the living room seeking to wake up. Carol got up around 6:33 AM. Carol and Josie left around 10:55 AM for Josie's tennis lesson. This morning I have basically written my paper diary and read from these books- 'The Life of Jesus Christ' Part One Volume 2 Chapters 41-92 by Ludolph of Saxony 'God In Himself-Scripture, Metaphysics, and the Task of Christian Theology' by Steven J. Duby Do not know what I will read during the afternoon and evening hours today. Yesterday in the mail I received a book I had pre-ordered last year titled, 'John 13-21' New Testament V Reformation Commentary On Scripture Edited By Christopher Boyd Brown. So I read from this Reformation Commentary last night (I had already 'John 1-12' New Testament IV Reformation Commentary On Scripture Edited by Craig S. Farmer). I also read yesterday from the short story collection, 'Collected Stories 1939-1976' by Paul Bowles. I also have been reading throughout the day from a book titled, 'Light On The Mountain: Greek Patristic and Byzantine Homilies on the Transfiguration of the Lord' Translated By Brian E. Daley, S.J.. I did not sleep soundly last night so I feel presently wasted.
