glorycloud's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Half Time It is 2:37 PM Sunday afternoon here in West Michigan. It has been a cold snowy damp day. It looks like early Winter weather today. But there is no expected snowfall this week so we are not slammed yet with ugly dangerous Winter weather. Maybe we will have a mild Winter this year. Still this winter weather will cause the COVID-19 plague to kill thousands of people. We are in a horrible time in world history. Will the world ever recovery from the deadly plague? Nothing will ever be the same. We live all our days expecting to be killed by some deadly virus. I have been watching professional football this afternoon. Right now it is Half Time. Carol is putting away stuff in her room. While watching football I have been reading from a book titled, 'Lady Macbeth Of Mtsensk-Selected Stories Of Nikolai Leskov' Translated from the Russian by Donald Rayfield. I plan to watch football all day into the night. Carol told me she plans to go to Covenant PCA tonight even though it is dangerous. People from her church are very sick with COVID-19 and they are not required to wear masks during worship services. I am sure people from Carol's church were exposed to COVID-19 by attending worship services. Last night we watched college football. I read while watching college football from a book titled, 'The Diaries of Emilio Renzi-The Happy Years' by Ricardo Piglia Translated by Robert Croll. I suppose I will close to watch some more football. There is no way of escape. Trapped. I should mention I read from these books for morning devotions- '"Beatus Vir" Commentary On the Davidic Psalms' Psalms 1-25 Volume 1 by Denis The Carthusian Translation & Introduction by Andrew M. Greenwell 'The Treasury Of David' Volume 1 Psalms 1-57 by C. H. Spurgeon 'Psalms' [The Geneva Series Of Commentaries] by W. S. Plumer I will close to drift.
