Thrift Store Used Books Haul

It is 12:51 PM Tuesday morning. It is a hot windy humid day. We have our central air system blasting away today.

This morning Carol and I did errands. We needed bird seed for our bird feeder, so we left here around 10 o'clock AM. While out we visited thrift stores in search of used books to ADD to our library. We found these used books today-

'The Yellow Dog' Crime Fiction by Georges Simenon Translated By Linda Asher

'Pietr the Latvian' Crime Fiction by Georges Simenon Translated By David Bellos

'The Hanged Man of Saint-Pholien' Crime Fiction by Georges Simenon Translated By Linda Coverdale

'The Late Monsieur Gallet' Crime Fiction by Georges Simenon Translated By Anthea Bell

'A Crime in Holland' Crime Fiction by Georges Simenon Translated By Sian Reynolds

'Saul Bellow: There Is Simply Too Much To Think About: Collected Nonfiction' Edited By Benjamin Taylor

'Main Currents in American Thoughts: The Beginnings of Critical Realism in America, 1860-1920' Volume III By Vernon Louis Parrington

'Shirley' Historical Fiction by Susan Scarf Merrell

'Descartes: His Life and Thought' biography by Genevieve Rodis-Lewis Translated by Jane Maric Todd

'Proverbs & Ecclesiastes' [Brazos Theological Commentary On The Bible] by Daniel J. Treier

'Death Of An Englishman' A Florentine Mystery by Magdalen Nabb

'Death Of An Dutchman' A Marshal Guarnaccia Investigation by Magdalen Nabb

While we were out before coming home we got take out hamburgers for lunch. When we got home we ate and I am now writing in my four online diaries.

I got up this morning around 5:50 AM. Carol had gotten up around 4 o'clock AM. I spent the morning doing the usual things like writing in my paper diary and reading from a book titled, 'Unity And Continuity In Covenant Thought: A Study in the Reformed Tradition to the Westminster Assembly' by Andrew A. Woolsey.

Last night I read late into the night a novel titled, 'The Origin Of The Brunists' by Robert Coover. I am going to close to recover from going out into the plague ridden world.
