It is 4:31 PM Thursday late afternoon here in southwest Michigan. It has been a cold gray day. My wife and I did leave the house today to do errands. While we were out doing errands we stopped at thrift stores and bought some used books for our library. Here is a list of the used books I bought-

'Excursion To Tindari' crime novel An Inspector Montalbano Mystery by Andrea Camilleri Translated by Stephen Sartarelli

'Istanbul: The Imperial City' by John Freely

'A Gambler's Anatomy' a novel by Jonathan Lethem

'John Milton: Life, Work, and Thought' biography by Gordon Campbell & Thomas N. Corns

'You Remind Me Of Me' a novel by Dan Chaon

'Little Masters' a novel by Damien Wilkins

'Thy Neighbors Wife' a novel by Gay Talese

'The Botany Of Desire: A Plant's-Eye View Of The World' by Michael Pollan

'Our National Daydream: A Political Pageant of the Reagan Era' American history by Sidney Blumenthal

'Lenin's Kisses' a novel by Yan Lainke Translated from the Chinese by Carlos Rojas

'Vietnam: A History' by Stanley Karnow

'Reaching For Glory: Lyndon Johnson's Secret White House Tapes, 1964-1965' Edited And With Commentary By Michael Beschloss

'Kennedys: Stories Of Life And Death From An American Family' Edited by Clint Willis

So existence keeps speeding by. I will close to locate my brain. There is no way of escape.
