It is another gray cold rainy day. Carol is getting baby Jack up from a nap. Andy and Beth took Lou and Marn to indoor playground to run around. I have been sitting in our dining room in a daze reading when not falling asleep. I have been trying to read from these books lately- 'Knowing and Growing in Assurance of Faith' by Joel R. Beeke 'Justification and the Gospel: Understanding The Contexts And Controversies' by R. Michael Allen 'The Cultural Contradictions Of Capitalism' by Daniel Bell 'Sanctification' by Michael Allen [New Studies In Dogmatics] 'The Way of the (modern) world Or, Why It;s Tempting Live As If God Doesn't Exist' by Craig M. Gay foreword by J. I. Packer 'Simone Weil: Portrait of a Self-Exilted Jew' biography by Thomas R. Nevin When I got up this morning the house was in a whirlwind of activity. Beth and Andy left early this morning to have breakfast with an ex-family member. Carol and I watched the grandchildren while they were gone. When Beth and Andy got back they took Lou and Marn to an indoor playground. Carol and I are taking care of baby Jack. When Beth and Andy get back they are going to pack up their van and go over to Grand Rapids to visit family members on Andy's side/ his step-brother and his family. When everyone leaves Carol and I will pick up the house and rest. I went to bed with Carol last night and she fell asleep so I got up and read late into the night and read some of the book 'The Cultural Contradictions Of Capitalism' by Daniel Bell. I went to bed around 12:30 AM and now it is 10:54 AM.
