the Father sent the Son and the Holy Spirit

It is 10:05 AM Wednesday morning here in West Michigan. It is a bitter cold day. I am expecting a blizzard today.

I got up this morning around 7:15 AM. I got up made a pot of coffee and for myself a bowl of oatmeal. I ate my mush messing with our main computer. After messing with our main computer I wrote in my paper diary and then read a new book titled, "The Triune God" by Fred Sanders [New Studies In Dogmatics]. Carol got home from work around 8:33 AM and went to bed around 9:05 AM. Tomorrow she works from 4 AM till 8 AM, then goes back to work at 7:55 PM Thursday night. She is off Friday and works Saturday and Sunday.Our lives are flying by faster than Superman the man of steel! The other night I realized with horror I am 64 years old! I am an old man! Where did the years go? One day you are in the prime of life and then next moment you are an old man preparing for the World to Come.

I have no plans for the day ahead of me. Yesterday I read my books and I suppose I will do the same today. It is too cold to drive anywhere this morning. I got a bunch of books in the mail yesterday so I do not need to go search for used books today.

Well I suppose there is nothing else to report this morning. I am going to go sit in silence and hope for a warm Spring 2017.

[2] As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.

[4] I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
[5] And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
[6] I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.
[7] Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee.
[8] For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.
[9] I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.
[10] And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them." John 17:1-10
