glorycloud's Diaryland Diary

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

the beauty of the sky is redemptive

It is 1:44 PM Friday in the death flow. Outside this afternoon it is hot, humid and gray. It feels wet outside right now.

This morning I covered for someone at the Herrick District Library Used Books Store from 10 AM till 1:10 PM. I brought home these used books from the library book nook to ADD to our library-

"Fifth Avenue, 5 A.M. Audrey Hepburn, Breakfast At Tiffany's And The Dawn Of The Modern Woman" by Sam Wasson

"The Complete French Poems Of Rainer Maria Rilke" Translated By A. Poulin Jr.

"Going Clear: Scientology, Hollywood, & The Prison Of Belief" by Lawrence Wright

"Selected Poems 1947-1995" Allen Ginsberg

"Five Decades: Poems 1925-1970" Pablo Naruda [A Bilingual Edition Edited And Translated From The Spanish By Ben Belitt]

"Full Woman, Fleshly Apple, Hot Moon" Selected Poems by Pablo Neruda Translated by Stephen Mitchell

While at the book nook when not helping people I read from these two books-

"A Visit To Don Otavio: A Mexican Journey" by Sybille Bedford

"Walter Benjamin at the Dairy Queen: Reflections At Sixty And Beyond" memoir by Larry McMurtry

There is not much else to report this afternoon. I am tired so I will close to face the four walls of my cell.
