glorycloud's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- union with Christ is a key theme of Pauline theology It is 9:48 AM Monday morning in the flow of the history of redemption. It is a cold gray day here by Lake Michigan. It is not snowing right now. Carol has gone to bed for the day. I am in my main study singing praises to the Lord Jesus Christ. "And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord" Ephesians 5:18,19. I got up this morning around 7 o'clock AM. I made a pot of coffee and messed with our main computer. Carol called to tell me she was off work and ready to come home. When we got home I made myself a pot of oatmeal for breakfast. I then wrote in my paper diary and now I am writing in my blogs. "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven" Matt. 5:16. Last night I read "Postwar: A History of Europe Since 1945" by Tony Judt and watched TV shows on our Amazon Prime. I went to bed around 11:15 PM. I did watch professional football yesterday. I got out to read this morning for devotions a book titled, "Salvation Applied By The Spirit: Union with Christ" by Robert A. Peterson. Well I will close to drift through another day. There is nothing pressing on my mind this morning. I might leave the house this morning to visit thrift stores to look at their used books. I will close to fed the birds and see what comes next.
