glorycloud's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- destruction of time It is 9:57 AM Sunday morning in the flow of time. I am listening to the music of Modest Mouse. I read recently that Modest Mouse has been working on an album. My wife just left for Covenant PCA. She told me when she gets home she will fry some pork-chops. Eating pork sounds primitive. Men are pork eaters. Don't Jews believe pork meat to be unclean. I have never eaten pig's feet with a jug of beer. I am not Polish. I have been reading from these two books this morning "John 1-12" NT IV Reformation Commentary On Scripture and "Time Of Need: Forms Of Imagination In The Twentieth Century" by William Barrett. I was planning on going down in the lower level and laying in the dark after my wife left for church. Now I am sitting here in front of our broken computer writing in my online diaries listening to the music of Modest Mouse. Am I a Sabbath breaker. Should I be taken out into a barren field and stoned by profaning the Sabbath? I got up this morning because I was having weird dream about Marlon Brando, diamond rings and old limousines. So I got up made a pot of coffee and messed with our main broken computer. After messing with our main computer I wrote in my paper diary. My wife got up as I was recording my existence. On Sundays my wife always looks through Sunday newspapers. I get my News off the internet and not mainly from newspapers. My wife has always read newspapers. Carol's mother when she was alive always read from cover to cover the local Holland newspaper, which I found odd. Most of what is in a local newspaper I find to be meaningless. Last night I mainly sat in my study reading my books on the Gospel of John. Well I really have nothing else to report. Existence keeps speeding by. Can not stop Time.
