glorycloud's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- the more intense a man's faith, the closer is his union with God It is 2:55 PM Friday afternoon. It is a cold snowy gray dismal day. It has been predicted by the weather gods to be sunny tomorrow. I got up this morning around 6:15 AM. I had been awake since 5:15 AM when I heard upstairs Carol getting up. Carol can not go walking with bare feet so she immediately puts on a pair of shoes when she gets up in the morning. So I hear her walking upstairs when I am down in the Lower Level where I sleep. Carol does not walk but drags her feet. Carol left early to meet with a lady she folds church bulletin's with for breakfast-they have breakfast and then go to their church to fold church bulletin's-also Carol to help set up for a bridal shower tomorrow at her church after helping fold church bulletin's. She got home around 11:57 AM. When she got home I was wandering the house. I spent the morning writing in my paper diary, I filmed a video Friday Reads and read, 'The Ascent of Mount Carmel' a mystical treatise by St. John of the Cross. I also read this morning from a book titled, 'Taught By God: Ancient Hermeneutics for the Modern Church' by Brandon D. Smith. And I read also this morning, 'An Introduction To the Medieval Bible' by Frans van Liere. This afternoon I have been reading what I read last night, 'Choice of Evil' A Burke Novel Crime Fiction by Andrew Vachss. I started reading last night before going to bed a used book I bought yesterday titled, 'The Long Corner' a novel by Alexander Maksik. In the mail this afternoon I received a used book I had ordered titled, 'Flannery-A Life of Flannery O'Connor' biography by Brad Gooch. I will close to drift.
