glorycloud's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- the Fall of America It is 2:03 PM Tuesday afternoon here in south west Michigan. It is a warm sunny Spring like day. I got up this morning around 6 o'clock AM. I am still not use to this Time change. So I got up, came upstairs to find Carol reading the Bible (ESV Study Bible). I wrote in my paper diary and then made a pot of oatmeal for our morning meal. After breakfast we had morning devotions-we are still reading through The Gospel of Luke (we are reading through the New Testament) and then we read from a devotional book titled, 'The Valley of Vision: A Recollection of Puritan Prayers & Devotions' Edited by Arthur Bennett. This morning Carol and I left to do an errands and to visit thrift stores in search of used books to ADD to our libraries. Davis In the mail I received some books-I received a used book titled, 'The Diaries Of Dawn Powell 1931-1965' Edited With An Introduction by Tim Page and I received from Reformation Heritage Books and a Seven Volume set of Commentaries on the Four Gospels by J. C. Ryle reprinted by The Banner of Truth Trust- 'Matthew: Expository Thoughts On The Gospels' by J. C. Ryle 'Mark: Expository Thoughts On The Gospels' by J. C. Ryle 'Luke Vol. 1 Expository Thoughts On The Gospels' by J. C. Ryle 'Luke Vol. 2 Expository Thoughts On The Gospels' by J. C. Ryle 'John Vol. 1 Expository Thoughts On The Gospels' by J. C. Now it is another afternoon. Tomorrow afternoon Carol will be in Denver CO visiting our daughter Bethany and her family for a week. I will be here seeking the Lord.
