glorycloud's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- his eyes shining with tears of pleasure It is 2:08 PM Tuesday afternoon and it is 35 degrees and very cold. I see some snow falling from the sky this afternoon. I got up this morning around 7 o'clock AM. When I got up Carol was getting ready for the day. I cooked breakfast for Carol and I and after breakfast we had devotions. Carol left around 8:45 AM to meet up with friends for a book discussion. I spent the morning writing in my paper diary and reading from these two books-'The Whole Armor of God' by William Gouge and 'New Testament Theology' by Eckhard J. Schnabel. Caleb Jon came by around 10:30 AM to get their dog Ollie. He said they did not get in from New Orleans till around 1:30 AM. Caleb shared with some of experiences in New Orleans during Mardi Gras 2024-the crews-the floats-the Marching Bands etc. . . While Caleb and I were talking our other son Josiah called. Caleb left with his dog Ollie to walk him home down the street. Josiah and I talked for two hours and then I decided to eat lunch. While I was eating lunch Carol got home around 1:15 PM. So has gone by the day. Carol is now asleep in a living room chair and I am writing in my online diaries. This afternoon I have been reading from a book I started reading last night titled, 'Amateurs in Eden The Story of a Bohemian Marriage: Nancy and Lawrence Durrell' biography by her daughter Joanna Hodgkin.
