glorycloud's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- classifying people according to their capacity to read Scripture literally, morally, or spiritually It is 1:30 PM Tuesday afternoon here in Western Michigan. It is another cloudy cold day. I got up this morning around 6:30 AM. I woke up because I was having a dream wherein Jim Nabors was marrying a Hamas terrorist in Las Vegas Nevada. In my dream Jim Nabors was singing, "The Stars Spangled Banner" and a Hamas terrorist was firing off a rocket towards a Casino. So I came upstairs with the hopes of shaking off this weird dream. I found Carol reading as usual in our living room. I had a normal morning writing in my paper diary, reading, 'Scripture, The Genesis of Doctrine' Doctrine And Scripture In Early Christianity Volume One by Frances M. Young, and I filmed a video. Carol left around 8:30 AM to do errands and got home around 12:30 PM. So has gone by this day. Last night we watched Professional Football on mute and I read from a book titled, 'The Letters of Gustave Flaubert' Edited And Translated By Francis Steegmuller. I have been reading in the afternoons lately from a book titled, 'The Paper-The Life and Death of the New York Herald Tribune' by Richard Kluger. I found last night a book I had been looking for days in my Library titled, 'Pulitzer" A Life In Politics, Print, And Power' biography by James McGrath Morris. I also looked at last night before going to bed from a book titled, 'Flaubert: A Life' biography by Geoffrey Wall. Carol is taking a nap because she has a Women's Ministry Meeting at her church tonight. While she was out today she bought a new microwave oven, because the one we had stopped working.
