glorycloud's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "some of my time now given to nothingess" It is 2:04 PM Thursday afternoon here in Western Michigan. It is a cold rainy dark day. I doubt if we will have any more hot sunny day. Here in Michigan it is known to snow during the month of October. I got up this morning around 6:55 AM. I did not want to get up, but I also could find no solid reason to stay in bed. When you get my age it is better to get up and face life with all its mystery. When I came upstairs I found my wife staring into the screen of her I Phone. I had a normal morning and also thus far a normal afternoon. Carol left this morning for a dentist appointment and then to meet up with girlfriends, the meeting of the Board (retired nurses). I spent the morning and also this afternoon writing in my paper diary and reading my books. I have been reading this afternoon from a book I read from last night before going to bed titled, 'Civil Disobediences: Poetics and Politics in Action' Edited By Anne Waldman & Lisa Birman. This morning I read for devotions, 'None But Christ' by John Wall (a Puritan reprint). There is really nothing else to report. Life continues.
