glorycloud's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- human knowledge is historically conditioned It is 1:13 PM Tuesday afternoon here in Western Michigan. It is 84 degrees and the air is polluted. Yesterday when Carol and I were in Grand Rapids book buying one can see blue sky and clouds. I have not seen blue skies or clouds in weeks here in Holland MI. I think I got up this morning around 7:30 AM. When I came upstairs I found Carol gone, she was out taking a morning walk. I wrote in my paper diary, took my morning pills and made myself oatmeal for breakfast. When Carol got back from her walk Carol started packing stuff-we have packed stuff so next week on the 11th of July the floor people can tear up our old carpet and lay down new wood like not wood flooring-the flooring looks like real wood but it isn't. I did some packing also this morning. I also took my massive music collection and placed it in our Sun Room (which is not being replaced with flooring). Tomorrow is am going to go and buy boxes just for books. I want book boxes so to store some of my books up here down into the lower level. When not packing or storing stuff I wrote in my paper diary and read from a new book I bought yesterday at Baker Book House titled, 'A Hermeneutic Of Wisdom: Recovering The Formative Agency Of Scripture' by J. De Waal Dryden. I am slowly feeling better and not so sick the last two days. I still got a dry cough and feel tired. But I am slowly being healed. Last night I looked at my new books and went to bed around 11:10 PM. Now it is the Fourth of July 2023. Time keeps rolling along. I will close to drift. We closed up the house and turned on the central air system this morning to keep our home cool. 1:27 p.m. - 2023-07-04 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
