glorycloud's Diaryland Diary

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

life is hard

It is 11:03 AM late Saturday morning in the death flow. Our lives are zooming by, so are we ready to meet our Creator?

I got up this morning around 6:10 AM. A weird dream woke me up and so I got up to face another day. I got up made coffee and then messed with our main computer. After messing with our main computer I wrote in my paper diary and then read 'The Saint's Everlasting Rest' a treatise by the 17th century English Puritan Richard Baxter.

When Carol got up I made for us a small pot of oatmeal for breakfast. After breakfast Carol left to do errands and I stayed home to read, write and make a video for my Youtube channel. So has gone by the morning.

Carol came home from her errands and then left to go visit a friend. I have been writing in my paper diary and reading 'The Saint's Everlasting Rest' by Baxter. I also fed the birds and cleaned the kitchen. A typical morning thus far for us.

Last night I watched television with my wife. She went to bed around 9 o'clock PM and I stayed up looking at my books and messing with our main computer. I sat down and talked into a camera for 28 minutes for a video, but I neglected to push down the record button. So there was no video to download into my Youtube channel. I went to bed around 11:30 PM. Now it is another day.

I suppose I will close to read my books and drift through the day.

"[1] Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
[2] For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
[3] For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
[4] For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.
[5] And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.
[6] Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief" Hebrews 4:1-6
