glorycloud's Diaryland Diary

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

the first in a distinguished line of cultural rebels

It is in the death flow 2:39 PM Friday afternoon. I cool gray afternoon here in my neck of the woods. I hope it rains today because we need rain.

So what has this day been thus far for me? It has been a typical Friday thus far. I got up this morning with my wife around 6:30 AM. I made a fresh pot of coffee and ate a bowl of cereal. Carol left to have breakfast with friends around 8 o'clock AM.

This morning after breakfast I messed with our main computer. After messing with our main computer I wrote in my paper diary and made a video for my Youtube channel.

I left to volunteer at our local Public Library used books store The Book Nook around 9:45 AM. The Book Nook was not slow nor was it busy. When not helping folks with their purchases I read from a book titled, 'Modernism: The Lure Of Heresy From Baudelaire To Beckett And Beyond' by Peter Gay. I brought home from the Book Nook two used books to add to our library-

'Ravens In Winter' Nature Writing/Birds by Bernd Heinrick

'The Sympathizer' a novel by Viet Thanh Nguyen

I was home from the Book Nook by 1:10 PM. Carol was not home when I got home. She got home around 1:40 PM.

Well there is nothing else really to report. I am sick of everything. I am tired. Last night I watched television and read late into the night from a novel titled, 'Pinkerton's Sister' by Peter Rushforth.

I will close to drift.
