glorycloud's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- a pure moral disposition is essential for embarking on the path of contemplation It is in the will for my life 9:39 AM Sunday morning in West Michigan. It is another cold sunny late Spring morning. Carol has arrived home from work and gone to bed for the day. It looks like it will be another super quiet day for me. I am already falling asleep and it is not even Noontime. I am thinking of going to a grocery store and going for a walk not necessarily in that order. Maybe if I talk a walk someplace I will feel more alive. I got up this morning around 6:35 AM. I got up made myself a portion of oatmeal and a pot of coffee. I ate my oatmeal messing with our main computer. After messing with our main computer I wrote in my paper diary and have been reading all morning from a book titled, 'Introducing Medieval Biblical Interpretation: The Senses of Scripture in Premodern Exegesis' by Ian Christopher Levy. I am finding this book on Medieval Exegesis a fun read. I am sure people are flocking in the millions to grab this book. Last night after Carol left for work I basically read the crime novel 'The Fallen' by Ace Atkins till I finished it. I went to bed around 11 o'clock PM. Now it is another day in my short uneventful life. I really do not have anything to tell anyone that would shed light on this complex chain of events leading to the end of the American Empire. So I will close to buy some hot dogs to celebrate victory in Jesus.
