Outside it is cloudy and wet. At least it is not raining on the big Tulip Time Parade. Carol, Emily, Caleb and Josie are downtown for the parade right now. I am home recovering from the shift at the Herrick District Public Library Used Bookstore. I volunteer at the library book nook on Saturdays from 10 o'clock AM till 1 o'clock PM. It was not busy this morning at the book nook even though I sold $97.00 dollars worth of used materials. I brought home two used books from the book nook to add to our library- "The Painted Drum" a novel by Louise Erdrich "Heyday" a novel by Kurt Andersen While at the book nook I read a book I checked out of the library system titled, "B & Me: A True Story of Literary Arousal" by J. C. Hallman. I have been up since 5:30 AM this morning so right now I feel like crap. I am going to go lay down in the dark now. The rain kept me awake all night.
