glorycloud's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- to delight in God It is 1:52 PM Sunday afternoon here in Western Michigan. It is 52 degrees and sunny this afternoon. It is rare these days to see sunshine. I should be outside right now enjoying the last of the Autumn colors, but instead I am inside watching Professional Football. I got up this morning around 7:45 AM. When I came upstairs Carol was getting ready to go to church. She left for church around 8:35 AM after we had morning devotions. I spent all morning writing in my paper diary and reading from a book titled, 'The Cross of Jesus' by Louis Chardon, O.P. (1595-1651). Carol got home from church around 12:05 PM and I turned on the TV to watch a professional football game. Carol and I going down the street around 4 o'clock PM to have dinner with Caleb, Emily, the girls and Ollie their pet dog. Last night we watched College Football and I read till I went to bed from these two books, 'The Valley of the Fallen' historical fiction by Carlos Rojas and 'The Fortress of Solitude' A Novel by Jonathan Lethem.
