glorycloud's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- mass credulity in wartime It is 4:29 PM Wednesday afternoon here in South West Michigan, it is sunny and 67 degrees. I am about to fall asleep so I better get this done before I pass out from exhaustion. I got up this morning around 6:55 AM. When I came upstairs I found Carol typing on our main computer. I do not know what she was typing this morning. I spent the morning doing the usual stuff. I do recall Carol leaving this morning around 10 o'clock AM to meet up with friends for coffee and to talk. While Carol was gone I wrote in my paper diary and wandered my Cell. Lately I have not been in the mood to read anything I have been reading in the mornings. When you get my age you have read everything that you would want to read. I did read today off and on from these two books-'The Last Days of Mankind' by Karl Kraus and 'A Supernatural War: Magic, Divination, and Faith during the First World War' by Owen Davies. Last night I mainly read late into the night, 'Miss MacIntosh, My Darling' a novel by Marguerite Young. Now it is the first day of May 2024. I will close to feel wasted. Tomorrow morning we meet up with folks we knew when we were at Reformed Theological Seminar, Jackson Miss,. 38 years ago-this married couple are staying at the Christian Reformed Campground by Lake Michigan. 4:44 p.m. - 2024-05-01 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
