glorycloud's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- the natural man is never concerned about whether he loves Jesus It is 1:56 PM Monday afternoon, 69 degrees and mostly sunny. The last Monday of October 2024 goes by normal. I got up this morning around 6 o'clock AM. When I came upstairs Carol was just getting up to face another day. Carol made a fresh pot of coffee and I cooked breakfast. After breakfast Carol and I had devotions-read are still reading through the Bible-New Testament-The Revelation of Jesus Christ The Book of Revelation. I have mainly spent this day writing in my paper diary and reading from a book titled, 'Distinctive Marks Of Saving Faith' by Alexander Comrie Translated By Bartel Elshout And Edited By Joel R. Beeke. Carol has been cleaning our kitchen-getting rid of stuff. There is nothing else to report this afternoon. Last night I read late into the night, 'Herscht 07769' A Novel By Laszlo Krasznahorkai Translated By Ottilie Mulzet. I am not sure what I will read next today. I should read some non-fiction this afternoon-something secular. I got to keep a balance or at least read all over the place. I have been reading these days from these non-fiction books in the afternoon-'The Notebook-A History of Thinking on Paper' by Roland Allen and 'Vertigo-The Rise And Fall Of Weimar Germany' by Harald Jahner Translated by Shaun Whiteside. I will close to face what comes next. I will be glad when it is over. "[15] And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. 2:11 p.m. - 2024-10-28 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
