It is 62 degrees and sunny this afternoon. We just got back from visiting bookstores in Grand Rapids. Here is a list of the books/used and new that I bought for my library today- We bought these used books at Argo's Used Books East Grand Rapids- 'California Bloodstock' A Novel by Terry McDonell 'The Indian Lawyer' A Novel by James Welch 'Collected Stories' by Osbert Sitwell 'House Of Wits: An Intimate Portrait of the James Family' biography 'H.D. The Life and Work of an American Poet' biography by Janice Robinson We drove over to Baker Book House a Christian Bookstore and I bought only one slightly damaged paperback titled, 'A Theology Of The Christian Life: Imitating and Participating in God' by Christopher R.J. Holmes. After Baker Book House we drove over to Reformation Heritage Bookstore and I bought these new books- 'Antinomianism: Reformed Theology's Unwelcome Guest' Historical Theology by Mark Jones 'The Concise Marrow of Theology' by Johann Heinrich Heidegger (1633-1698) Translated by Casey Carmichael Introduced by Ryan Glomsrud [Volume 4 Classic Reformed Theology] 'Commentary on Ephesians' by Robert Rollock (1555-1599) Translated by Casey Carmichael [Volume 5 Classic Reformed Theology] 'The Spiritual Life' by Campegius Vitringa Translated And Edited By Charles K. Telfer Foreword By Richard A. Muller After Reformation Heritage Books we drove over to Schuler Books that sells new and used books-I bought these used books there- 'Otherwise Known As The Human Condition: Selected Essays And Reviews' by Geoff Dyer 'Getting Personal: Selected Writings' essays by Phillip Lopate 'Selected Letters of William Styron' Edited By Rose Styron With R. Blakeslee Gilpin After Schuler Books we went to Pita House for lunch and after a nice meal drove home. So has gone by the day thus far. I will close to recover from all the running around. Tomorrow morning we go to a library used books sale in Hudsonville Mich..
