It is a cold snowy day. It has been predicted to be a sun filled day tomorrow. I got up this morning around 7:30 AM. When I came upstairs I made a pot of oatmeal for breakfast. After Carol and I ate our breakfast we talked and then had morning devotions. After devotions I got ready to leave to volunteer at our local Public Library used books store The Book Nook from 10 AM till 1 PM. The Book Nook was somewhat busy, but I was able to read from a book I started rereading last night titled, 'Republic Of Detours: How The New Deal Paid Broke Writers To Rediscover America' by Scott Borchert. I bought these used books from the Book Nook today- 'Down The Highway: The Life Of Bob Dylan' biography by Howard Sounes 'Washington Irving: An American Original' biography by Brian Jay Jones 'High Dive' A Novel by Jonathan Lee 'The Tao Of Physics' by Fritjof Capra 'Winter Brothers: A Season At The Edge Of America' biography by Ivan Doig 'Saul Steinberg: Illuminations' biography/Art by Joel Smith 'Gorey's Worlds' biography/Art by Erin Monroe 'FDR: A Centenary Remembrance' biography by Joseph Alsop I will close since I am extremely tired. I am too tired to do anything but sit. Maybe a fresh cup of coffee will perk me up. Tomorrow is a Saturday. Pray there are no mass killings this evening in America.
