Christ alone can open the door

It is 11:59 AM Monday late morning it will soon be 12 o'clock Noon in the flow of Redemptive History. Everything is One. Time is One and soon will be no more.

I got up this morning around 7:10 AM. I woke up remembering a dream about preparing a chicken meal. When I came upstairs I found Carol about to eat breakfast. After we had breakfast we had devotions and then prayed. After prayer I wrote in my paper diary and spent the morning reading from these books for morning worship-'The Trinity in the Book of Revelation-Seeing Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in John's Apocalypse' by Brandon D. Smith, 'Commentary Upon The Book of Revelation' by James Durham Late Minister of the Gospel in Glasgow Scotland and Volume 4 'The Works of John Flavel Sermon VI Behold I [stand] at the door and knock, etc. [I stand and knock] pg.113 "The whole life of Christ upon the earth was an evident proof and demonstration of the desire of his heart to be in union and communion with us" pg.116

This afternoon we watched College Football Bowl games and read. We watch the games on mute so we can read. Last night I read before going to bed from a book titled, 'Everybody Thought We Were Crazy-Dennis Hopper, Brooke Hayward, and 1960s Los Angeles' by Mark Rozzo. I also read last night while watching Professional Football from these two books, 'Dwight Macdonald and the politics Circle' by Gregory D. Sumner and 'The Last Utopians: Four Late 19th Century Visionaries And Their Legacy' by Michael Robertson. I am not sure what I will read this afternoon watching football.

I will close to wait. It will soon be over.

"[14] And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
[15] I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
[16] So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
[17] Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
[18] I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
[19] As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
[20] Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
[21] To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
[22] He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches." Rev. 3:14-22
