Cheap Stack Used Books Haul

It is 2:17 PM Tuesday afternoon on a warm sunny day. It has been predicted to get cloudy this afternoon. Right now the sun is shining and it is 71 degrees outside. This morning my wife and I took a color tour to see the bright Autumn colors. We drove north to Grand Haven along Lake Michigan. When I got into Grand Haven we stopped at Loutit District Library to visit their used bookstore Cheap Stacks to look at their used books. I bought these used books at Cheap Stack's this morning-

'Terror And Consent: The Wars For The Twenty-First Century' by Philip Bobbitt

'The Bernini Bust' (A Flavia Di Stefano Mystery) by Iain Pears

'One Day in the Afternoon of the World' A Novel by William Saroyan

'Between Them: Remembering My Parents' A Memoir by Richard Ford

'Book of Numbers' A Novel by Joshua Cohen

'The Rabbit Factory' A Novel by Larry Brown

'Walks With Men' A Novella by Ann Beattie

'The Accomplished Guest: Stories' by Ann Beattie

'The Dead Republic' A Novel by Roddy Doyle

'Maigret And The Apparition' A Mystery by George Simenon Translated by Eileen Ellenbogen

'Maigret In Court' A Mystery by George Simenon Translated from the French by Robert Brain

'Hannah Arendt: A Life In Dark Times' biography by Anne C. Heller

'The Silence' A Novel by Don DeLillo

'Can't and Won't Stories by Lydia Davis

After visiting Cheap Stacks we headed back home. On the way home we stopped at Kirk County Park and walked down to Lake Michigan. While by Lake Michigan I took some photos. It was beautiful standing by Lake Michigan, a bright sunny day. One could see for miles white caps on the waves.

When we got home I ate lunch and then came to our main computer to catalogue the used books I bought today into my LibraryThing site. Time flow circle of Light.

This morning I was up by 7:20 AM and we were on the road by 10 o'clock AM. Before we left the house Carol and I had morning devotions.

Last night I read late into the night from a book titled, 'Memoirs from Beyond The Grave 1768-1800' by Francois-Rene De Chateaubriand. Yesterday evening Amazon delivered a book I had ordered titled, 'Patricia Highsmith: Her Diaries And Notebooks 1941-1995' Edited By Anna Von Planta.
