Outside it is cloudy and gray. By late afternoon it has been predicted to start snowing and become bitterly cold. It suppose to snow into next week, so we will stay home till the winter storms passes by us. This morning I had a doctor's appointment around 8:30 AM. After my doctor's appointment instead of coming home Carol wanted to visit thrift stores to look for used books, so we did that. We got home from running around 11:30 AM. I am beat! I have not been sleeping soundly lately. Carol bought a ton of used books today and I bought these used books- 'Left Illusions: An Intellectual Odyssey' a memoir by David Horowitz 'Rites of Spring: The Great War And The Birth of The Modern Age' Modern History by Modris Eksteins 'James Joyce's Ulysses: A Study' Literary Study by Stuart Gilbert 'The Message of The Resurrection' Biblical Studies by Paul Beasley-Murray 'Interior Darkness: Selected Stories' horror by Peter Straub 'Astoria: Astor and Jefferson's Lost Pacific Empire' American History by Peter Stark 'Skirting Heresy: The Life and Times of Margery Kempe' biography by Elizabeth MacDonald 'Bedlam: A Novel of Love and Madness' by Greg Hollingshead When we got home I made a fresh pot of coffee and catalogued the used books I bought today into my LibraryThing site. I plan do nothing the rest of the day. I am exhausted!
