glorycloud's Diaryland Diary

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

the wound of knowledge

It is 11:25 AM late Saturday morning. It is a sunny day. People all around me are outside doing stuff. I should go for a walk someplace this afternoon. I need to move my body. "Move it or lose it," as my wife is constantly saying these days of lock down.

I got up this morning around 6:30 AM. I got up and immediately ate breakfast. As I ate a bowl of cereal I messed with our main computer. After messing with our main computer I wrote in my paper diary. Carol got home from work around 9:05 AM. She went to bed around 9:30 AM. She works tonight and tomorrow night and then she is off eight nights.

I have reading this morning from these books, 'The Glory of Christ' by John Owen (Abridged And Made Easy To Read By R.J.K. Law), 'Seeing By The Light: Illumination in Augustine's and Barth's Readings of John' by Ike Miller, and 'The Spiritual Canticle' by St John of the Cross.

Last night I messed with my books, filmed a video and read. I did not get to bed till Midnight last night. Now it is another day in the flow of existence. There is no way of escape. I am falling asleep so I will close to drift through the rest of the day.
