He usually bestows some secret touches of love

It is in the death flow 1:04 PM Wednesday afternoon. It is another cold gray rainy day here in West Michigan.

I got up this morning around 6:15 AM. I got up ate a bowl of cereal while messing with our main computer. (I need to find another word for messing.). After playing with our main computer I wrote in my paper diary and read till my wife got home from work. Carol got home from work around 9:10 AM this morning. She went to bed soon after coming home from work. I left the house around 10:40 AM to visit thrift stores north of town and found these used books to ADD to our library-

"How to Read Literature Like a Professor: A Lively and Entertaining Guide to Reading Between the Lines" by Thomas C. Foster

"Mistler's Exit" a novel by Louis Begley

"By-Line: Ernest Hemingway-Selected Articles And Dispatches Of Four Decades" Edited By William White

"An Unquiet Mind: A Memoir Of Moods And Madness" by Kay Redfield Jamison

"The Captain's Verses: The Love Poems" poetry Pablo Neruda

"America's Medicis: The Rockfellers and Their Astonishing Cultural Legacy" biography/Art history by Suzanne Loebl

"Crown & Veil: Female Monasticism from the Fifth to the Fifteeth Century" Edited by Jeffrey F. Hamburder & Susan Marti

"Smilla's Sense Of Snow" a novel by Peter Hoeg Translated By Tina Nunnally

"The Book Of Nothing: Vacuums, Voids, and the Latest Ideas about the Origins of the Universe" by John D. Barrow

A Slip Cover box set containing the Works of Henry David Thoreau-"Civil Disobedience", "Walden", A Week on the Concord and Merrimack Rivers" & "The Main Woods"

After visiting thrift stores I drove home to wait for a full moon. I read this morning from these books-

"Canonical Theology: The Biblical Canon, Sola Scriptura, and Theological Method" by John C. Peckham

"Pilgrim at Tinker Creek" a memoir by Annie Dillard

"The Collected Works of St. John of the Cross" translated by Kieran Kavanaugh, O.C.D. & Otilio Rodriguez, O.C.D.

Last night I mainly read late into the night a novel titled, "The Nix" by Nathan Hill. Well it is time for me to sign off and catch my breath. It will soon be over.
