A cold gray day here by Lake Michigan. A good day to get deep dark sun tan. I got up this morning around 7:15 AM. My wife was already up making fresh potato soup. Soup is good to have during the Winter season. I got myself a glass of cold water and sat in our dining room waking up to another day in the fast lane. Carol made a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast. After breakfast I messed with our main computer. Next I wrote in my paper diary. I have been reading for morning worship volume one of a two volume set titled, "The Christian's Only Comfort In Life And Death: An Exposition of the Heidelberg Catechism" by Theodorus VanderGroe. Last night I read "Mislaid" a novel by Nell Zink and "Pursuit Of The Prodigal" a novel by Louis Auchincloss. My wife and I watched a taped television show and went to bed around 10:30 PM. Now it is another day. There is not much else to report. Carol works the next three nights. Life keeps zooming by! We will soon all be in the Eternal State. My generation is dying off. "3.Q.
