Outside it is hazy and sunny, not as hot as yesterday. I got up around 6:15 AM this morning. I spent the morning reading from these two books- "Moral Reflections on the Book of Job" Volume 1 Preface and Books 1-5 by Gregory the Great Translated by Brian Kerns, OCSO "The Shattered Lantern: Rediscovering A Felt Presence Of God" by Ronald Rolheiser Carol is cleaning the stove this morning. Josiah and Hannah left this morning to spend a couple days in Grand Rapids with Caleb. I plan to spend the day being in the presence of God. Not much else to report this morning. Last night Carol went to bed early. I spent the evening alone as usual reading my books. I read last night from these two books- "Moral Reflections on the Book of Job" Volume 1 Preface and Books 1-5 by Gregory the Great Translated by Brian Kerns, OCSO "Pinkerton's Sister" a novel by Peter Rushforth Last night Josiah drank several beers and watched television. Hannah sat around for awhile and then went down into the lower level to read.
