glorycloud's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Holy Week 2016 It is in the flow of salvation history 9:40 AM Wednesday morning. It is a cold gray damp day here in West Michigan. This morning it does not feel like Spring but late autumn. I did notice on the bushes buds blooming this morning. Soon everything will be blooming. I got up this morning around 6:10 AM. I woke up after having a dream about a Guatemala Beauty Queen. I got up made myself oatmeal for breakfast and a pot of coffee. I ate my oatmeal messing with our main computer. After messing with our main computer I wrote in my paper diary. After writing in my diary I read some more of the book, "Introducing Biblical Hermeneutics: A Comprehensive Framework for Hearing God In Scripture" by Craig G. Bartholomew. I read this book all day yesterday. This book is really interesting. I highly recommend this book for those who love reading the Bible. I was thinking yesterday that most people do not realize that the Bible is a living book which means God by the Holy Spirit is communicating Himself to the reader/the Christian. The Bible is alive. a living powerful life transforming Word of God. Because the Bible is the living Word of God it can not be exhausted. The Bible has infinite depths and can not be fully fathomed. I have been reading the Bible going on 46 years and I am still experiencing new divine realities when reading and studying the Bible. My wife got home from work around 8:40 AM and has gone to bed for the day. I plan to spend this day like I did yesterday reading my books and sitting in silence/contemplative silence. Yesterday like I wrote I read all day the book "Introducing Biblical Hermeneutics" by Craig G. Bartholomew. I did get in the mail yesterday a new book titled, "Progressive Covenantalism: Charting a Course Between Dispensational and Covenant Theologies" Editors: Stephen J. Wellum & Brent E. Parker. It is good to have read this book before reading this book, "Kingdom through Covenant: A Biblical-Theological Understanding of the Covenants" by Peter J. Gentry & Stephen J. Wellum. So last night I read "Introducing Biblical Hermeneutics" and went to bed around 10:30 PM. Now it is another day to get ready for the Eternal State. I will close to read and ponder. It is Holy Week 2016, we are coming towards Resurrection Sunday. The Lord Jesus Christ is now reigning over the cosmos/the Kingdom of God. "[29] Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day. 10:05 a.m. - 2016-03-23 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
