glorycloud's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Garden of Paradise It is in the ice snow flow 11:47 AM late Thursday morning. Outside this morning it is gray and very cold. I left the house this morning to get some money, fill Carol's car up with gas, and to visit local thrift stores. The roads were very dangerous so I only went to two near by thrift stores. I found these used books this morning to ADD to our library- "The Hundred Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out Of The Window And Disappeared" a novel by Jonas Jonasson translated from Swedish by Rod Bradbury "One Day Of Life" a novel by Manlio Argueta Translated From Spanish Bill Brow "The Garden Of Paradise Or Holy Prayers And Exercises" by John Arndt "Tombee Portrait Of A Cotton Planter" by Theodore Rosengarten With The Plantation Journal Of Thomas B. Chaplin (1822-1890) "The Complete Poems of Emily Dickinson" Edited by Thomas H. Johnson (I had a paperback of this book, but this is a nice hardback edition with slipcover) So the morning has gone by normal thus far. Not much else to report today.
