glorycloud's Diaryland Diary

a primordial outpouring of divine grace

It is in the sunlight flow 12:50 PM Tuesday afternoon. It is a cold sunny day here by Lake Michigan. I thought about leaving my hermit hut this morning and going for a walk in the woods, but not in the right state of being to venture forth into the Wasteland. So I spent the morning reading my Bible and commentaries on Psalm 19. I also spent a couple of hours trying to figure out how download MP3's into my Media Player.

I was up this morning around 7:39 AM. I had a normal morning. My wife got home from work around 9 o'clock AM and went to bed for the day since she works tonight. Like I wrote I read my commentaries on Psalm 19 and messed with our main computer.

This afternoon I received in the mail a book I had ordered titled, "Stories I Tell Myself: Growing Up with Hunter S. Thompson" Memoir by Juan F. Thompson.

Last night I messed with our main computer and read late into the night from a book titled, "The Pastor As Public Theologian: Reclaiming a Lost Vision" by Vanhoozer & Strachan.

I also made book collecting books video last night. So Time keeps emptying into the Void.

I got out these books to read this afternoon in my cell-

"Holy Wisdom Or Directions for the Prayer of Contemplation" by Father Baker

"Carthusian Spirituality" reading in this volume the treatise THE ROADS TO ZION MOURN by Hugh of Balam

Not much else to report on this cold winter day. All we can do is pray.
