glorycloud's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- fried crisp It is in the natural flow 1:54 PM Saturday afternoon. It is a cold gray day here in West Michigan. I thought this morning it would be a sunny day, but the clouds rolled in off Lake Michigan this afternoon. There is damp chill in the air this afternoon, typical late Autumn weather. I volunteered at the Herrick District Public Library from 10 AM till 1 PM today. I brought home these used books from the book nook to ADD to our library that afternoon- "Pilgrims" Stories by Elizabeth Gilbert "Turn Right At Machu Piccu: Rediscovering the Lost City One Step at a Time" travel memoir by Mark Adams "The Promise Rest" A Novel by Reynolds Price "20th Century Ghosts" Short Stores by Joe Hill "The Pope Who Quit: A True Medieval Tale Of Mystery, Death, And Salvation" biography by Jon M. Sweeney "The Brothers Karamazov" novel by Fyodor Dostoyevsky (Translated By Constance Garnett) published in 1940 hardback edition Illustrated by Boardman Robinson While at the library used books store when not helping people I read, "Other Colors: Essays And A Story" by Orhan Pamuk. Once a weird dream drove me out of bed this morning around 5:52 AM so right now I feel fried crisp. I might watch a college football game this afternoon at 3:30 PM. Existence keeps cooking. 2:06 p.m. - 2015-11-07 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
