used books bought 6/11/2015

It is in the cosmic flow 11:43 AM Eastern Standard Time. Carol, Beth, and little Lou went to Centennial Park and then to Herrick District Public Library. I left the house to visit local thrift stores in search of used books to ADD to our book collection. I found these used books today-

"On God: An Uncommon Conversation" Norman Mailer with Michael Lennon

"The Memoirs of Richard Nixon" With A New Introduction By The Former President (The Richard Nixon Library Edition)

"The Best Short Stories Of The Eighties" Edited by Shannon Ravenll

"Must You Go? My Life with Harold Pinter" a memoir by Antonia Fraser

"A Primer On Postmodernism" by Stanley J. Grenz

"The Asian Journal of Thomas Merton"

"The Last Thing He Wanted" a novel by Joan Didion

"Procession" Dominant Personalities Of Four Decades As Seen By The Author Of The Inside Books by John Gunther

"Visions Of Cody" biography by Jack Kerouac

"The National Gallery London" Homan Potterton

"Beautiful & Pointless: A Guide to Modern Poetry" by David Orr

"Collected Novellas" Leaf Storm, No One Writes To The Colonel, Chronicle Of A Death Foretold" by Gabriel Garcia Marquez

"Platter River" a novel by Rick Bass

"Twelve Stories" by Guy Davenport

After visiting the thrift stores I came home to chill till everyone comes home. Carol just called to tell me they are having lunch downtown, Lou is in a good mood still and eating her meal.

It has been raining a little here by Lake Michigan. Well I will close to do my little dance of death. Existence keeps zooming by! We will soon all be dead. I remember these words of God recorded in His Book the Bible-

"[11] And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;
[12] That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing.
[13] But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
[14] For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
[15] For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
[16] For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
[17] Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
[18] Wherefore comfort one another with these words." First Thess. 4:11-18
