glorycloud's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- subvert the dominant paradigm It is in the flow 8:22 AM Friday morning. It is a sunny morning here in West Michigan. It is 39 degrees outside this morning. Carol just left with Faye to go out for breakfast and then to shop. I am still waking up. Carol and I were up this morning around 6:17 AM. Carol made coffee and I made for myself a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast. I ate my oatmeal messing with our main computer. As I messed with our main computer Carol read her Bible. After messing with our main computer I wrote in my paper diary and Carol left with Faye. Not much has gone on this morning. I have nothing to do today. I could go someplace later this morning. There are some thrift stores I have not visited this week to look for used books to ADD to our book collection. Yesterday after having lunch with my friend Tim I visited a local thrift store and found these used books to add to our library- "The Paris Wife" a novel by Paula McLain "Faster: The Acceleration Of Just About Everything" by James Gleick "The Last Tsar: The Life And Death Of Nicholas II" biography by Edvard Radzinsky (Translated from the Russian by Marian Schwartz) "Prague" a novel by Arthur Phillips (In our library we have another novel by Phillips titled, "Angelica".) For the last two days I have been mainly reading, "A Diary Of The Century: Tales from America's Greatest Diariest" by Edward Robb Ellis. Last night Carol and I watched television and went to bed early. music Andy Stott 'Faith In Strangers' Well I suppose I will close to drift through the day. music: Carla Bozulich 'Boy' 8:40 a.m. - 2015-04-17 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
