lost the ability to feel shame

It is now in the flow of existence 8:33 AM Saturday morning. I am down in the lower level reading the article on Baptism in a book titled, "A Dictionary of Early Christian Beliefs" Editor David W. Bercot. I came down here to lay down in the dark till it is time for me to get ready to go to the library book nook. After eating breakfast I felt all the air come out of me. Carol got up as I was cooking breakfast. She did not want any eggs for breakfast. Carol is seeking to eat less food.

As I was eating breakfast I was thinking that today men and women today have no shame. All around me I see men and women committing gross acts of sin and they have no shame. These people want the United States government to legalize their sins. All I see around me are people hardened in their rebellious ways. People today have lost the ability to feel shame for their sins. People today boast of their wickedness. Due to the reality men and women have given themselves over to the lusts of their flesh they have lost also the ability to think clearly. People have become fools and not wise. What controls people today is not reason (godly wisdom) but their fleshly lusts. People deceived themselves when they say they only want to have the freedom to love. What these men and women want really is the freedom to fulfill without public shame their depraved lusts. This lack of shame in people today is another proof to me we are in the Last Days. I remember these words of the Apostle Peter, "and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those who afterward would live ungodly; and delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked (for that righteous man, dwelling among them, tormented his righteous soul from day to day by seeing and hearing of their lawless deeds)" 2 Peter 2:6-8.

Well I will close with these words of the Apostle Paul in his Letter to the Romans.

"[26] For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
[27] And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
[28] And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
[29] Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
[30] Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
[31] Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
[32] Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them." Romans 1:26-32
