glorycloud's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- the kingdom of God is present and future It is 4:27 PM Friday afternoon in the flow of existence. I have had a normal day thus far. I finished reading "After Lucy" a novel by Daniel Jones this afternoon. If I read another novel soon I might read "Tree Of Smoke" a novel by Denis Johnson. I have read four novels lately. I am always reading something because I am retired. I am not into racing sports cars or climbing mountains. I am seeking to live a quiet simple existence during the last days of the american empire. Carol is up now drinking coffee and looking throught newspapers in our dining room. Josiah is messing with the main computer in our living room. I am sitting in my study writing on my lap top my average american existence. It is going on 5 o’clock PM. I have no plans for the evening hours. I have been reading also today a book titled “New Testament Theology: Magnifying God in Christ” by Thomas R. Schreiner. I always throughout the day write in my private diary about what is going on outside of me and inside of me. My hobby is writing down my Life before it is gone forever. I am debating inwardly if I want to take Rudy for a walk someplace. Maybe since Carol is off tonight she will take Rudy for a walk this evening. Today I was thinking of writing a lot of stuff that is on my mind lately, but I am not in the proper mood to spill my beans. Somethings I would like to write can not be written unless the time is right. Somethings should be left unwritten. Plus so much of what I would like to write about has been already written about someplace in my diaries. Why repeat myself? “A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things. But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” Matt. 12:35-37 music: Swan Lake “Beast Moans” 6:30 p.m. - 2008-06-20 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
